Fishing for Snook in South Florida, is a “year-round sport”. The best chances of catching a “trophy size” Snook (20 lbs. or larger) are the months of May to November. However it is not uncommon to catch “Big Snook” during the winter months. Tarpon, some in the 80-100 lb. class, are also on the list of game fish to be caught.

Offshore or Deep Sea fishing in South Florida can be phenomenal at times. Year-round there are fish to be caught: Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) and Wahoo with their reel screaming runs and rod bending fights. As well as, Kingfish, Cobia, Grouper and Snapper schooling along the reefs. Palm Beach County has an abundance of natural and artificial reefs “teaming” with these fish.
